New Town Hotel Edinburgh

As adventure travelers, we were thrilled with the helpful staff who carried our bags to our room on the 2nd floor. The room size was excellent, offering a double bed, a single bed, and two sofa beds. We also loved the luxurious bathroom. The location of the hotel was ideal, and we couldn't find a cheaper place to stay in such a great area.

Felt right at home instantly, with the staff being extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely spacious room and warm modern bathroom. Had a wonderful continental breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Despite a few minor issues, overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean and in a good location, just a short walk from the city center and close to transportation options. The room was spotlessly clean and warm, providing a cozy and comfortable stay during my New Year celebration. the friendly and helpful staff made my experience even better, especially a young man were very good to assist my husband during a small mishap in the restaurant.

There were a few areas of improvement. This could be challenging with mobility issues.

I loved the central location of this hotel. It was within walking distance to all the main attractions and very close to two great art galleries. Getting to the hotel from the airport was easy, as the tram stopped right outside. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even gave me a late checkout. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The hotel is conveniently located close to shops and bars, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy the nightlife. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the recent refurbishment has improved the overall experience. The breakfast has also improved in quality.

Some areas of the hotel, such as the bathroom door and sash window retainers, need attention and better maintenance.

The hotel is located within walking distance of main attractions and is very convenient for transportation. The rooms offer a good view of the city rooftops and the sea, with windows facing York Place. The staff is helpful and the breakfast includes continental options.

Some minor improvements could be made in terms of stained walls near the bed, and the shower tap needing to be fixed.
